„Last year, after half a century spent photographing sails, I wanted to celebrate this anniversary by choosing from my archive and publishing on the calendar 12 images, the most evocative for me, of all these years. Each photo suddenly brings to mind memories and sensations that had characterized that special situation during a regatta, a trip or an adventure. I have published them on the La Grande Vela 2024 calendar and I hope they are accompanying you pleasantly through the months of this year.
The problem was that I found many more than 12 images! I didn’t like the idea of putting the unused ones back in the archive so I decided to continue on this route for the future.“
